We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our ER team at TriStar Horizon Medical Center. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and record patient symptoms, reactions, and progress, and notify the RN as appropriate.
- Create and maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Perform nursing tasks as appropriate and safe under indirect supervision of the RN.
- Reinforce individualized education for the patient, family, and/or caregiver throughout the continuum of care as directed by the RN.
- Adhere to standards of safety and infection control in the delivery of patient care.
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of and comply with all policies and procedures related to the performance of job duties.
- Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with internal and external customers.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
- Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS Certification.
