Become a vital part of the YMCA of Metro Atlanta, an organization committed to fostering positive community engagement. We are in search of an Academic Enrichment Paraprofessional to enhance our afterschool initiatives, concentrating on educational support, tutoring, and STEAM activities for youth in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of academic and enrichment programs
- Support the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) Academic Team
- Engage collaboratively with parents and educators
- Implement and uphold safety protocols, ensuring compliance among members and staff
- Foster a positive and stimulating learning atmosphere
Essential Qualifications:
- Possession of a paraprofessional certificate; a 2-Year Associate degree is preferred
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in Title 1 educational settings is preferred
- Proficient in computer use and MS Office applications
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Successful completion of background and drug screening checks
- CPR certification is mandatory
