Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at US Oncology Network-wide Career Opportunities. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our oncology team.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients with various types of cancer, including hematological and solid tumors. This will involve assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing venipuncture, and maintaining central lines
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care delivery
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in oncology nursing
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred
  • Current RN state license and registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum 3-5 years nursing experience, including at least one year in oncology
