POSITION SUMMARY

The role involves operating and maintaining a range of vehicles, including single, tandem, or multi-axle trucks and forklifts, to facilitate the timely delivery and collection of agricultural and energy products. This position is vital for ensuring operational efficiency and contributing to the company's growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safely operate and maintain all assigned vehicles in accordance with established safety protocols and operational standards.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections, including checking fuel and oil levels, as well as inspecting tires, lights, and brakes.
  • Adhere to the preventative maintenance schedule and ensure the vehicle is kept clean and presentable.
  • Load and unload products in compliance with company policies and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Ensure accurate completion of all delivery and pick-up documentation in line with company standards.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

  • Maintain company equipment to meet organizational standards and uphold a professional appearance.
  • Comply with GROWMARK's Code of Conduct, Corporate Compliance Program, and Environmental Health and Safety policies.
  • Participate in basic maintenance tasks as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Candidates should demonstrate key competencies such as business acumen, teamwork, effective communication, customer service orientation, and decision-making skills.

Applicants must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a valid CDL License with necessary endorsements, a valid medical card, and a satisfactory driving record. Flexibility to work extended hours as needed is essential.

Potential candidates should be prepared for exposure to various environmental conditions, including extreme weather, noise, and potential hazards, while adhering to safety protocols.
