Job Summary

The Emergency Department Nurse provides high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional outcomes. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing principles, with a focus on emergency medicine and critical care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing individualized care and interventions as needed.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient preferences.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with current RN licensure and certification in emergency nursing (ACLS, PALS, and Hazmat).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency medicine, with a strong track record of patient care and teamwork.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
