Position Overview:
As a CT Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography scans and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. You will work in a dynamic environment, handling a daily caseload of approximately 20-40 patients.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT imaging
- First-time travelers are welcome
On-Call and Weekend Requirements:
- No on-call duties required
- No weekend shifts required
Facility Information:
- Type: Short Term Acute Care
- Trauma Level: Level II Trauma Center, Teaching Hospital
- Total Staffed Beds: 497
Work Schedule:
- Shift: Monday through Friday, 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM
Additional Details:
- Scrub Color: Black
- Charting System: EPIC
- Parking: Free
Guaranteed Hours:
- Minimum of 36 hours per week for 3x12-hour shifts
- Minimum of 48 hours per week for 4x12-hour shifts
- Minimum of 40 hours per week for shifts less than 12 hours
Special Notes:
- SSM Health may cancel shifts up to 24 hours in advance for travelers confirmed to 8-hour shifts without compensation for the canceled hours.
Travel Considerations:
- Local candidates are not accepted beyond a 70-mile radius.
- Requests for time off should be made upfront, with additional requests subject to management discretion.
