Financial Analyst

Job Title: Sr. Financial Analyst

Job Summary:

National Guard Employment Network is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team at NOV Bammel. As a key member of our finance organization, you will be responsible for complex balance sheet reconciliations, monthly financial analysis, and preparation of rolling forecasts and annual budgets.

Responsibilities:

* Perform complex balance sheet reconciliations, including WIP/CIX/Unbilled accounts sourced from multiple feeder systems
* Conduct monthly financial analysis, including actual to forecast variance and trend variances, gross margin review of third-party and IC sales, and operating margin review including other costs of sales
* Analyze and prepare rolling forecasts and annual budgets dealing with multiple cost centers and locations
* Report KPIs to operations/management and ensure understanding of metrics
* Coordinate and oversee accurate revenue recognition through POC
* Identify and implement process improvements in finance and operations organizations
* Assist with internal and external annual audits
* Perform ad-hoc analysis of system reconciliations/reporting
* Review and manage Tracker II intercompany journal entries
* Ensure integrity of internal controls in compliance with US and Canada SOX requirements and company policies and procedures

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
* CPA and/or MBA preferred, but not required
* Minimum 5 years relevant experience
* Experience with supporting foreign currency ledgers
* Strong balance sheet reconciliation skills
* Ability to troubleshoot issues independently
* Advanced Microsoft Excel competency
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Working knowledge of US GAAP
* Hyperion Financial Management and/or Oracle experience a plus
