Noble Hospice is expanding its services in Arizona and is seeking a dedicated Evening Registered Nurse (RN) to provide essential care for our patients. This role involves working evenings and weekends on a 7 On/7 Off schedule. The RN will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients in their care, including night and weekend PRN visits, scheduled weekend visits for patients nearing end-of-life, admissions, wound care, Foley catheter management, and other tasks that may arise during after-hours shifts.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver nursing care to patients with terminal illnesses.
- Develop and implement patient treatment plans.
- Monitor and document changes in patient conditions.
- Communicate effectively with Hospice Physicians and family members.
- Provide education to patients regarding end-of-life care options.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date patient medical records.
- Offer therapeutic communication to patients and their families.
- A minimum of two years of experience in hospice care is required.
- Proficient in EMR charting and familiar with medical equipment used in hospice settings.
- Ability to establish rapport with patients and their families.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Capable of thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
