Elementary Education Specialist

As an Elementary Teacher at Aspire Public Schools, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students. Key Responsibilities- Establish a culture of high expectations, emphasizing the importance of college attendance
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with California State Standards and Aspire Instructional Guidelines
- Regularly assess students and refine instruction based on assessment data and student needs
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues, involving families as partners in their child's education
- Identify unique student needs and collaborate with team members to address those needs and improve instructional practices
- Participate in professional development activities and work closely with lead teachers, principal, and instructional coaches
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid Multiple Subject Teaching Credential required
- 1+ year of experience working with students as a teacher, teacher intern, or teaching assistant preferred
- TK positions only: Child Development Teacher Permit, at least 24 units of college coursework in early childhood education, or child development, or both, or professional experience in a classroom setting with TK students comparable to the 24 units of education described above
- Knowledge of subject matter, including State Standards and subject-specific frameworks
- Knowledge of child cognitive development and various learning styles
- Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative student data
- Ability and willingness to reflect and improve instructional practices

Our salary schedule for this position type is $66,593-$126,836.
