Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber IT Specialist to join our team at Peraton. As a key member of our Department of State (DoS) Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) program, you will provide leading cyber and technology security experience to enable innovative, effective, and secure business processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and respond to service requests in a timely manner.
  • Track and detail all work through events logged and resolved in a government furnished ITSM tool.
  • Diagnose and resolve customer reported system incidents, problems, and events.
  • Implement industry recognized ITSM processes to support organizational increase on high reliable IT services.
  • Provide status and outage communication to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and/or maintain call back lists, escalation lists, special events, etc.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement a Major Incident Response (MIR) plan.
  • Provide service restoration support.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years' of relevant experience.
  • Ability to support 24x7x365 system monitoring, customer, and technical support role.
  • Must be able to support 3rd Shift - 10:00 pm - 6:00 am.
  • Have ONE of the following certifications: CCNA Security, CEH, CISSP, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Active Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain a final Top Secret security clearance.
