Automotive Emissions Inspector

At Team Car Care Dba Jiffy Lube, we are seeking a skilled Smog Technician to join our team. As a Smog Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles.

• Perform state-mandated inspections on vehicles, including safety and emissions checks.
• Gather and input customer and maintenance information into our computer system.
• Review oil options, vehicle manufacturer recommendations, and previous services to provide expert advice to customers.
• Communicate additional services requested to our team and gather necessary parts for installation.
• Review invoiced items with customers, accept payment, and provide excellent customer service.
• May be required to perform inspections at other locations within a 10-15 mile radius of our home store location.

• Valid certification to perform automotive state, safety, emissions, and/or smog inspections.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and lift up to 50 pounds.
