About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with expertise in Apache Spark to join our team at EPAM Georgia. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing and building robust software solutions for processing financial data on Databricks in Microsoft Azure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop software applications for data processing and analysis using Apache Spark and Databricks on Microsoft Azure.
- Apply software engineering principles and best practices to data engineering projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Python software development.
- Strong understanding of Apache Spark and its applications.
- Proficient in data modeling and SQL for efficient data processing.
- Experience working with Databricks in Microsoft Azure for data processing and analysis.
- Ability to work across the entire software development lifecycle.
- B2+ English language proficiency.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Databricks and Delta Lake.
