Physical Therapist (PRN) Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at BrightStar Care as a PRN Physical Therapist. This role involves providing direct patient care to individuals with physical disabilities and/or functional limitations in home health settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Therapy Programs: Plan and administer therapy programs for patients with neuromusculoskeletal conditions, including posture, gait, range of motion, muscle testing, and other relevant assessments.
  • Administer Physical Agents: Utilize electrotherapy, sound energy, heat/cold therapy, hydrotherapy, and JOBST compression as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with patients' medical histories.
  • Direct Patient Care: Assist patients in active and passive exercises, muscle reeducation, and gait and functional training, utilizing pulleys and weights, steps, and inclined surfaces.
  • Manual Therapy Techniques: Perform soft tissue mobilization, extremity and joint mobilization, medical exercise therapy, myofascial release, and craniosacral therapy as needed.
  • Evaluate and Record Progress: Assess and document patients' progress for review by other members of the rehabilitative team.
  • Share Knowledge and Best Practices: Participate in in-service teaching and timely verbal communication to share new information with staff on treatment techniques.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
