Social Worker 5-A

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker 5-A to join our team at the Office of Juvenile Justice. As a key member of our social services program, you will be responsible for providing expert social work services to our clients, including assessment, evaluation, and treatment planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide social work services to clients, including assessment, evaluation, and treatment planning
- Develop and implement individualized case management plans to address client needs and problems
- Provide consultation and education to interdisciplinary staff and community agencies on social work aspects of service
- Prepare social work reports, including assessments, case summaries, and counseling reports
- Provide expert testimony and advocacy representation for clients in court cases
Requirements:
- Master's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work
- Four years of professional level social services experience
- Licensure as a Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners
Working Conditions:
This position is located at the Thibodaux Regional Office in Thibodaux, Louisiana. The selected candidate must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
