The salary for this position ranges from $138,000 to $154,000 per year, depending on level.

Job Description

This Engineering role requires advanced technical problem-solving skills to support nuclear plant operations. As a resource and technical expert, you will possess excellent knowledge in your functional discipline and its practical application, as well as detailed knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulations.

You will provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical expertise and consultation through direct involvement and as a subject matter expert to identify and resolve equipment and system problems;
  • Directly fulfilling engineering and technical leadership accountability regarding short-term and long-term programs that impact site operations;
  • Performing engineering tasks as assigned by supervision applying engineering principles;
  • Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work, proper configuration management, and adherence to standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes;
  • Conducting independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects and programs;
  • Recommending equipment, new concepts, and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design or material flaws, or comply with changes in codes or regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Licensed Professional Engineer designation;
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of engineering experience, depending on the level;
  • Thermohydraulic analysis experience;
  • Professional Engineer Registration.
