We are seeking a skilled HVAC Laboratory Technician to join our team at APR Consulting, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory maintenance, lab testing, and analysis on various projects.
Responsibilities:- Perform laboratory maintenance, lab testing, and analysis on various projects.
- Work on various types of customer-side-of-meter equipment, including advanced air conditioning equipment and heat pump water heaters.
- Use laboratory tools and equipment, including hand-held manual or power tools, and machine tools.
- Operate laboratory test equipment, including instrumentation and sensors.
- Calibrate and perform inventory tracking on various types of lab tools and equipment.
- Set up and perform maintenance on various types of lab tools and lab testing equipment.
- Complete work safely, document work performed, and keep work area clean and neat.
- Communicate results effectively to team members and support team members when needed.
- Associate's Degree required.
- 3-5 years of experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience in operating laboratory test equipment and maintaining and calibrating lab test equipment.
- Lab experience in mechanical, chemical, biological, or food processing labs.
- Experience with instrumentation sensors and data acquisition systems.
- Experience with plumbing, mechanical refrigeration, air conditioning, or other thermal systems.
