FAR Inspections offers a unique opportunity for experienced professionals to work as independent contractors, performing residential occupancy verifications for mortgage lenders.

Salary: $20-$30 per hour, equivalent to $40,000-$60,000 per year, based on 20-30 hours of work per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct residential property inspections within 4 days of assignment
  • Report general property conditions and determine occupancy using industry standards
  • Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments
  • Complete a short form in an app
  • Work in assigned territory, making multiple stops during the day

Requirements:

  • Computer with internet connection
  • Reliable vehicle (good gas mileage preferred)
  • Smartphone (Android or iPhone)
  • Printer
  • Pass a standard background check using a valid driver's license
