Job Title: Reader/Grader

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist with grading and recording student scores in our Mathematics department.

Job Summary:

This is a temporary hourly-intermittent Student Assistant position available on or after September 3, 2024, and ending on or before May 30, 2025. The possibility of reappointment is based on budget, department needs, and job performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist instructor with grading homework assignments using provided solutions.
  • Record student scores accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the instructor or department.
Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
  • Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
Salary and Benefits:

The hourly rate for this position is $16.00. As a CSU employee, you will have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as retirement savings options.
