Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at Kingdom Recovery Center. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients in their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with monitoring and reporting of facility operations to ensure a safe and orderly environment.
  • Participate in intake procedures, including data collection, searches, and rounds, to ensure patient safety.
  • Ensure patients adhere to clinical schedules and communicate any issues to the treatment team.
  • Transport clients to appointments and meetings, conducting safety checklists before each trip.
  • Oversee patients throughout their daily schedules, adhering to facility policies and state/federal regulations.
  • Make continuous rounds to ensure overall safety and report any suspicions or findings to supervisors.
  • Communicate and resolve issues related to housekeeping, building upkeep, and patient rights.
  • Assist with room preparation and common area maintenance for client admission and discharge.
  • Foster a supportive environment that promotes ethical treatment and encourages constructive feedback.
  • Attend training sessions and complete required certifications, including CPR, verbal de-escalation, and HIPAA.
  • Follow guidelines for collecting samples for tests, such as urine drug screening and pregnancy tests.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in chemical dependency, substance abuse, or psychiatric settings is preferred.
  • Complete TB testing upon hire and undergo a background check.
  • Clean driving record.
