Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Route Driver to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products and maintaining inventory to our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive company vehicle over established route to deliver products and maintain inventory
  • Ensure that truck is properly loaded with all product required to properly service all scheduled machines
  • Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines
  • Perform product rotation to ensure freshness at designated client locations for vending machines
  • Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance
  • Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of vending machines and other related equipment
  • Conduct minor service and adjustments on machines
  • Maintain accurate machine product and inventory data via a handheld computer
  • Inform regular clients and customers of new products or services
  • Listen to and resolve service complaints
Requirements:
  • 3 years driving experience required
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Preferred 1-2 years' experience in a customer service position, or a minimum of 1 year of related experience
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis
