Responsibilities

  • Supervise nursing care provided by RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and others
  • Review and implement nursing procedures and systems
  • Assess and evaluate systems for delivering quality guest care and staff performance
  • Use a systematic approach to provide individualized nursing care
  • Contribute to guest assessments (MDS/CAA's) and plan of care development
  • Evaluate guest responses to nursing interventions
  • Understand medication and treatment rational and administer as needed

Qualifications

  • Current state nursing licensure (LPN)
  • CPR certification and additional nursing specialty certification desired
  • Management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred
