Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver - Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide assistance and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community-based settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Support: Assist individuals with transportation to medical appointments, outings, and shopping.
  • Daily Living Skills: Assist with meal preparation, medication administration, and daily living skills such as personal hygiene and grooming.
  • Developmental Goals: Provide guidance and support to individuals in achieving developmental goals, including community participation, household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities.
  • Living Skills: Support individuals with living skills such as personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Age: Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Experience: Six months of experience in human services preferred
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Background Checks: Successful clearance of background checks
  • Attitude: Reliable, responsible attitude
