Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paramedic to join our team at Boothwyn Fire Co. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in a variety of settings, including emergency and non-emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency patient requests, providing medical care and transportation as needed
  • Comply with all policies and procedures outlined by the organization, including OSHA and HIPAA regulations
  • Maintain current certifications and competencies in patient care, including CPR, ACLS, and PHTLS/BTLS
  • Document all aspects of patient care accurately and completely, including patient paperwork and reports
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including checking ambulances and equipment and participating in training
  • Assist with orientation and training of volunteer and career personnel
Requirements
  • Commonwealth of Pennsylvania paramedic or PreHospital Registered Nurse certification
  • Current CPR, ACLS, PHTLS/BTLS, EVOC, NIMS, and PALS/APLS certifications
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 125 pounds on patient moving devices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a variety of settings, including emergency and non-emergency patient care environments. The successful candidate will be able to walk and stand for extended periods and have a high energy level.
