We are seeking a highly skilled Fabricator to join our team at J. E. F. Fabrication, specializing in the creation of light structural and architectural metal products.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with mig and stick welding, particularly with ASME D1.1 codes. Proficiency in GMAW welding, plasma cutting, and grinding is essential for success in this role.
As a key member of our fabrication team, you will work 80% of the time in an open-air shop, utilizing your skills to produce high-quality metal products. The remaining 20% of your time will be spent on-site, applying your expertise to various projects within the Houston area.
This is a full-time position, requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, with additional hours as needed during peak periods.
Your reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail are crucial in delivering exceptional results and meeting project specifications.
- Create and fabricate finished metal products according to precise specifications.
- Install and repair equipment and components with precision and speed.
- Follow blueprints and engineering schematics to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Calculate material measurements to verify product specifications.
- Conduct thorough tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance.
Compensation: We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Requirements: Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or related fields; familiarity with welding tools and procedures; ability to interpret engineering blueprints and schematics; and capacity to handle physically demanding tasks.
