Job Summary:
LocumTenens is seeking an OB/GYN physician to provide locum tenens coverage at a short-term acute care facility in eastern Kentucky. The facility is a reputable healthcare provider that offers a range of medical services to the local community.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide OB/GYN services to patients, including routine check-ups, prenatal care, and surgical procedures.
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including certified nurse midwives (CNMs) and nurse practitioners (NPs).
- Participate in call coverage, including clinic and OR assignments.
- Manage a patient load of 20-25 patients per day, with an average of 1 delivery per day.
Requirements:
- Board certification in OB/GYN.
- Prescriptive authority.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
