Job Overview:

As a GIS specialist, you will work closely with accomplished teams of planners, engineers, scientists, and designers on projects across the country.

Responsibilities:
* Support GIS tasks for multidisciplinary projects, including transportation, energy, and water
* Design and produce cartographic products for various purposes, such as presentations, reports, and maps
* Perform data input and editing of spatial data under minimal supervision using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
* Conduct spatial analyses using ArcGIS and prepare geoprocessing models using ModelBuilder, Python, or other scripting languages
* Prepare spatial databases for projects and perform routine database management
* Support field data collection using ArcGIS Online apps and associated data management
* Prepare documented technical procedures

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Geography, Planning, Engineering, Natural Science, or related field
* Minimum 3 years of practical GIS experience
* Proficient in ArcGIS and other related GIS software for editing, database development, and map production
* Strong cartographic skills and proficiency in Microsoft 365 Apps
* Attention to detail, effective time management, ability to work independently or with a team, and excellent written and oral communication skills

Compensation:
$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
