Polysomnographic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Polysomnographic Technologist to join our team at Essentia Health. As a Polysomnographic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of sleep disorder testing, including patient screening, scheduling, and education. You will also participate in case review and treatment plans with physicians and arrange prescribed patient home therapy.
Key Responsibilities- Perform polysomnograms, CPAP, BiPAP, ASV, and iVAPS titrations
- Conduct patient education during and after patient admission
- Participate in case review and treatment plans with physicians
- Arrange prescribed patient home therapy
- Successful completion of a polysomnography program associated with a state license and/or nationally accredited education facility
- Documented proficiency in all required competencies of a polysomnographic technician
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent within 1 year of hire or transfer
