Job Summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a skilled CDL Rear Load Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a rear load truck to collect and transport waste and recyclables to disposal sites and recycling facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a rear load truck in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service by collecting and hauling waste and recyclables from customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and complete necessary logs and reports.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain prior to hire.
  • At least 19 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Excellent driving and maneuvering skills, with a good understanding of truck mechanics.
  • Ability to read and speak the English language.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
