Job Summary

Watchfire Signs is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment, performing routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with production supervisors to schedule maintenance tasks and minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Program and configure SMT, Radial, WaveSolder/Selective Solder & Encapsulation/ coating equipment to produce high-quality products.
  • Communicate with suppliers and OEMs to request quotes and coordinate with outside service personnel as needed.
  • Assist manufacturing engineers in resolving performance and functionality issues with existing equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, spare parts inventory, and equipment performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and typing in English, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with computer software, including Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment, with a strong focus on safety and ergonomics.
  • Associate's degree in a technology-related field, or equivalent experience.
