Job Summary

Geisinger Health System seeks a skilled Helicopter Line Pilot Part Time to join our team. As a key member of our Life Flight team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient conduct of flight assignments related to the conveyance of patients in need of emergency services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute flight assignments, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Conduct pre-flight briefings with medical, communications, and ground personnel to ensure a smooth and safe operation.
  • Supervise and assist with the loading and distribution of cargo and passengers, ensuring weight and balance are within prescribed limitations.
  • Ensure all necessary equipment and emergency supplies are on board and properly secured.
  • File and activate flight plans, and complete post-flight logs and maintenance records.
  • Participate in post-flight debriefings to discuss any issues or concerns.
  • Maintain proficiency as a Pilot-in-Command and stay up-to-date with SPIFR operations.
Requirements
  • FAA commercial pilot with an instrument rating.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
  • Certified Airline Transport Pilot.
  • Valid Driver's License.
