Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Java/J2EE Developer with IES to join our team at Infowave Systems, Inc. as a Software Engineer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test complex Java applications using J2EE components, including JSP, Custom Tag libraries, JavaScript, Session EJBs, JDBC, and more.
  • Write efficient and effective SQL statements for relational databases such as DB2 and Oracle.
  • Participate in root cause research and analysis to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Java 6.0 and J2EE application development.
  • Proficiency in using a Java Integrated Development Environment (IDE) such as RAD 7.5 or above.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented analysis and design principles, including Singleton, Factory, and DAO design patterns.
  • Experience with MVC architecture and batch job development.
  • Familiarity with IBM Websphere Application Server 8.0 and SuSe Linux 11 environment (VMware) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
