Job Title: Registered Nurse - Home Health Visits

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Glen Arm, Maryland. As a home health nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in their own homes, promoting independence and improving their overall well-being.

Job Summary:
  • Provide comprehensive home health care services to patients, including wound care, medication management, and education on self-care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, developing personalized care plans to address their unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Document patient progress, including vital signs, medication administration, and treatment outcomes, in accordance with BAYADA's electronic medical record system.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Maryland.
  • Minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical experience, preferably in home health care or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to travel to patient homes, with reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, as needed.
