About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Network Systems Architect to join our team at Terran Orbital Corporation. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing robust networking architectures for our space-based products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop network architecture solutions that meet customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of networking systems with other components.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and implementation guides.
  • Participate in the development and testing of network management systems, ensuring they meet performance, security, and reliability requirements.
  • Work closely with customers and partners to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in networking and system-of-systems data transfer.
  • Expertise in computer networking, including switch and router solutions (packet processing, MPLS, DSCP, VPN, VLAN, IPV4/6, TCP/UDP, Quality of Service, Type of Service, HAIPE NETCONF).
  • Familiarity with high-speed and high-reliability networking solutions, such as YANG data models.
  • Experience with embedded systems hardware architecture, processor architecture, and switch/router OS.
  • Demonstrated ability to make complex critical decisions in a timely manner.
  • Proven collaboration and coordination skills across internal and external stakeholder organizations.
  • Experience with risk, issue, and opportunity management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
