Project Architect

At KSA Engineers Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Architect to join our team. As a key member of our architectural design team, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of project design from inception to completion. This includes researching and staying up-to-date on architectural product types, product literature, trends, specifications, material costs, and applicable building codes. You will also perform field documentation of site conditions, existing building conditions, and field measurements to create detailed reports and reproduce findings in 3D software. Additionally, you will provide assistance with bidding and negotiations, as well as construction administration, making construction site visits and coordinating addenda, RFIs, submittals, Applications for Payments, Change Orders, and construction closeout documents. You will also write and edit architectural specifications and prepare overall project manuals. Furthermore, you will assist with marketing, business, development, and client relation efforts, producing/assisting with content to be included in RFQs/RFPs and proposals. You will primarily utilize Revit along with software such as Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and Lumion to effectively communicate both two- and three-dimensional architectural design ranging from conceptual designs to construction details. You will perform QAQC technical reviews as well as coordinate and review project documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines. You will have a strong understanding of construction and material costs and prepare detailed opinion of probable construction cost reports for each phase of the project design. You will collaborate with the client and project stakeholders in development of the programmatic direction based on understanding the individual needs of the client and their budget to be effectively maintained throughout the project. You will maintain budget and project delivery schedule while communicating concerns with Project Team and client.
Requirements- Accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- 4+ years' experience
- Proficient in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Office 365, and experience in AutoCAD
- Registered Architect or in the process of receiving license
- Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED is preferred but not required
- Coordinates all aspects of projects design from project inception to completion
