Job Overview

Southland Holdings is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing quality inspection programs and processes to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project teams to establish quality management systems and ensure their effective implementation.
  • Review and analyze contract documents, submittals, and RFIs to identify potential quality issues.
  • Develop and maintain quality inspection programs and processes to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on quality management systems and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure quality management systems are being followed.
  • Identify and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in quality control or a related field, preferably in government projects.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with project teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and identify quality issues.
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet software and word processing software.
Education and Experience
  • BA/BS degree in a related field, plus 5 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Preferred qualifications: 5+ years of municipal water and/or wastewater project experience, 2+ years of leadership experience.

Southland Holdings offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including 401K matching, dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, vision insurance, paid time off, and a referral program.
