As a key member of our laboratory operations team, you will be responsible for providing general operational supervision to assigned personnel, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Hire, train, and conduct performance evaluations for designated staff, providing leadership, coaching, recognition, and staff development.
  2. Schedule and manage labor and resources within budgetary guidelines, reducing waste and establishing priorities, workloads, and controls.
  3. Ensure area(s) of responsibility are maintained in accreditation with relevant regulatory bodies, including CAP, CMS, AABB, FDA, and CLIA.
  4. Participate in task forces to plan, implement, and coordinate activities to maximize service quality, compliance effectiveness, and efficiency.
  5. Serve as a resource and communication liaison, facilitating timely and accurate dissemination of information within the organization and to parent partners.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology.
  • Four (4) years' training and experience in high-complexity testing in the respective specialty.
