Salary and Benefits

Job Responsibilities

The Rehabilitation Director will oversee physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, ensuring high-quality care and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include:

  • Clinical Oversight: Monitor and assess the quality of care provided, intervening when necessary.
  • Compliance and Regulation: Regularly review and enforce compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Staff Development: Mentor and lead ongoing professional development programs.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Facilitate effective collaboration among all disciplines.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources efficiently across sites.
Requirements
  • Degree in an accredited Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology program.
  • Current license/certification in the state of practice.
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare, preferably in a long-term care setting.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, insurance, and resident rights.
