About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a contract nurse in a Med-Surg setting. This is a 12-hour night shift contract opportunity with a reputable healthcare facility in Hermitage, Tennessee.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with the healthcare team, and maintain a safe and clean environment. As a contract nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your clinical skills in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Requirements

To be considered for this contract nurse position, you must have:

  • A current RN license in the state of Tennessee
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Med-Surg setting
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
