Position: Field Technical Trainer Applications Specialist

Department: Technical Services

Summary:

As a Field Technical Trainer and Applications Specialist, you will be instrumental in leading training initiatives and offering support to elevate the expertise and capabilities of our clients and internal teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct extensive training sessions on the operation and maintenance of laser systems, software applications, and other pertinent subjects.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of training programs.
  • Support the evaluation of new machine functionalities and technologies.
  • Produce documentation for both customer and internal purposes.
  • Offer technical advice and solutions to clients.
  • Foster positive relationships with customers.
  • Collaborate with various teams to fulfill operational requirements.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma is mandatory; a technical degree is advantageous.
  • Experience in Computer Aided Design and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM programming.
  • Strong mechanical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Familiarity with Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite.

Certifications:

Valid Driver's License is required.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds and perform manual tasks.

Mental Demands:

Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform under pressure.

Working Conditions:

Mixed office and manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels.

Reporting Structure:

This position reports to the Training Development and Laser Applications Support Manager.
