Your Role

We are seeking a motivated individual for an entry-level position as a Landscape Architect with 0 to 3 years of experience. This role encompasses the development of graphics and renderings, design work, research, and collaboration with our Landscape Architecture team on construction documentation and field activities.

Key Responsibilities

Additional Duties

  • Assist with diverse design tasks, including planting design, construction details, concept sketches, code research, and report writing.
  • Collaborate with landscape designers, architects, scientists, engineers, and CAD technicians.
  • Handle administrative responsibilities and maintain communication with project teams.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in landscape architecture from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong skills in digital illustration and rendering.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with native vegetation and ecosystems of the Pacific Northwest.
  • Interest in parks, trails, and landscapes that harmonize human activity with natural systems.
  • Willingness to assist with fieldwork across disciplines.
  • Experience in ecology, stormwater management, or natural resource design is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A passion for design and planning.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Experience with 3D rendering software such as SketchUp or Rhino 3D.
  • Knowledge of construction administration.
  • Background in biology, ecology, or environmental studies.
  • Experience in site assessments or monitoring.
  • Familiarity with irrigation design and landscape maintenance.
