Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality care as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in post-acute care settings
  • Collaborating with medical staff and residents to develop care plans
  • Administering medications and providing optimal treatments to residents
  • Reviewing care options and outcomes with healthcare professionals
  • Educating residents and their families about care alternatives
  • Setting up and monitoring medical equipment as necessary
  • Ensuring compliance with nursing standards and facility regulations
  • Collecting samples for laboratory analysis
  • Training and supervising nursing and support staff
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of medical interventions and patient histories
  • Assisting with incident investigations as needed
Qualifications and Skills
  • Valid Ohio state license to practice as a Clinical Nurse Specialist
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program
  • A minimum of 4 months' experience in post-acute care or inpatient hospital environments
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
