Residential Counselor

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Counselor to join our team at InVision Human Services. As a Residential Counselor, you will provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall well-being.

• Implement support plans and ensure compliance with regulations
• Provide routine, emergent, and follow-up medical care and ensure the overall health and well-being of individuals
• Act as a petty cash custodian and manage finances
• Compile routine documentation and maintain accurate records
• Participate in debriefing sessions and provide feedback
• Assist with planning community and in-home activities
• Transport individuals to appointments and activities
• Prepare meals and manage household responsibilities

• High School diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in social services
• Valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance
• Ability to comprehend and apply basic mathematical concepts
• Ability to maintain level of vigilance and respond to clients during overnight hours

The Residential Counselor will work in a residential setting, providing support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain a high level of vigilance.
