Job Overview

Position: Housekeeping Supervisor

Compensation: Starting Pay: $17.75 per hour

We are in search of a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee our housekeeping operations. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the management of housekeeping and laundry services to achieve departmental productivity and quality benchmarks.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, hallways, and communal areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness protocols and proper placement of amenities.
  • Identify maintenance needs, report issues promptly, and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
  • Facilitate training and professional development for housekeeping personnel; conduct performance assessments and provide constructive feedback.
  • Guide housekeeping staff in the effective execution of their responsibilities.
  • Ensure adequate supply levels by performing regular inventory checks; manage ordering and receipt of supplies to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Collaborate with the Guest Service Department to accommodate special guest requests.
  • Perform housekeeping tasks as necessary to maintain guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in housekeeping.
  • At least one year of supervisory experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
