LPN Unit Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled LPN Unit Manager to join our team at Ballard Center. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our residents and ensuring that our facility meets the highest standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the unit for resident care, ensuring that all tasks are completed as indicated and overseeing care on the unit.
- Deliver a full range of nursing care, including managing medications, wound care, and vital signs.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and physician orders, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Write, initiate, and revise plans of care as needed, working closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure that each resident receives the best possible care.
- Maintain accurate clinical notes regarding condition and care given, promoting a culture of safety and ensuring a healthy practice and living environment.
Requirements:
- LPN with current licensure to practice in the state of [insert state].
- Knowledge of applicable nursing principles and practices to ensure the quality-of-care standards for residents.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment.
- Nursing experience providing direct care to multiple residents.
- Behavioral care / memory care experience.
- Experience with Point Click Care (PCC).
