Position Overview

The Electromechanical Systems Engineer is essential in diagnosing and enhancing electrical systems within a production facility. This role demands a comprehensive knowledge of mechanical apparatus and the capability to work collaboratively across various teams to guarantee efficient operations.

  • Detect and rectify potential malfunctions in components and circuit boards utilizing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
  • Maintain and repair general electrical controls, relays, and contactors to ensure equipment functionality.
  • Refine machinery control programming to elevate quality and minimize waste.
  • Assess project proposals and determine required components for enhancements and repairs.
  • Oversee teams in the installation of new machinery and liaise with suppliers for inventory management.
  • Ensure prompt equipment repairs and maintain effective communication with relevant teams.
  • Adhere to safety and environmental regulations, supporting management objectives.
  • Engage in administrative meetings and undertake related responsibilities as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a production environment is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and possess basic writing skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional travel.
  • Ability to stand and navigate a manufacturing floor for extended durations.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
