Collects patient and family data to support the identification of clinical, educational, psychosocial, and cultural needs while effectively communicating this information to the healthcare team.


Contributes to the patient care plan based on identified clinical, educational, psychosocial, and cultural needs, while recognizing the necessity to involve other healthcare professionals when appropriate.

Plans, prioritizes, and organizes patient care tasks to optimize time and resource utilization.


Completes routine patient care tasks and medication administration in a safe, efficient, and timely manner, while being prepared to intervene in emergency situations.

Customizes nursing interventions to address identified needs and adjusts interventions as the patient's or family's needs evolve.

Reassesses and updates the patient care plan in collaboration with the registered nurse.

Engages in quality and safety initiatives, such as HAC groups, QAPI, KPI, and Top 10 lists.

Participates in recruitment activities, including interviews, open houses, and marketing efforts.

Enhances patient experience by developing and implementing strategies to improve satisfaction.
