Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team at Trident Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our cardiac catheterization lab.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect total nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including screening and preparation for exams
  • Manage the efficient flow of patients through the lab, including arranging testing and admissions
  • Provide therapeutic services necessary for patient care, including EKG interpretation and abnormal lab value recognition
  • Maintain and review patient records, including posting test results and examination findings
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license
  • American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification
  • American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Health Care Provider certification (preferred and required within 6 months of hire/transfer date)
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of previous Cardiac Cath Lab/EP experience
