Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our team at Maverick Concepts LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for managing production, staff, schedules, and quality assurance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production planning and scheduling, with experience in a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for:

  • Regularly producing and maintaining the production schedule for all orders to meet customer deadlines while maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs.
  • Reviewing progress of all orders and assessing the impact of new jobs on the production schedule, communicating any changes to relevant parties.
  • Reinforcing and managing processes and procedures with production staff to ensure a desired culture is achieved in a manufacturing environment and applying corrective actions when necessary.
  • Championing quality control for Production, ensuring that all workers are aware of quality expectations for goods.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of the production schedule.
  • Promptly addressing and resolving production issues to minimize delays in production and errors.
  • Recommending viable solutions to reduce production costs and improve production processes and product quality.
  • Compiling status and performance reports and submitting them to management in a timely manner.
  • Analyzing production data and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in production planning and scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency in production scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
