Job Description:

At Walgreens, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting our pharmacists in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software, to process prescriptions and manage inventory.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain certification and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods, with frequent use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
