We are seeking a skilled Travel CT Technologist to join our team at Penn Highlands Clearfield. As a Travel CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating a Siemens Somatom Perspective 64 slice CT unit, performing diagnostic imaging procedures, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a Siemens Somatom Perspective 64 slice CT unit to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and immobilization.
  • Administer contrast media and medications as required.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results.
Requirements
  • Current certification in CT technology.
  • Experience with Siemens Somatom Perspective 64 slice CT units.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
Work Schedule

The schedule for this position will be 10 hour days, starting at 7:00am and ending at 5:30pm. The work schedule will include Monday and Tuesday, with Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday off. The position will also require working Saturday through Thursday, with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off. The schedule will repeat every two weeks.

Additional Requirements
  • Government issued photo ID required.
  • Primary source online verification required.
  • Negative PPD, Q Gold, or TSpot required within 6 months of start.
  • Chest X-ray within 5 years of start.
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start.
  • Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen (instant acceptable) within 30 days of start.
  • 7 Year Criminal Search required within 1 year of start.
  • 2 Professional References required within 3 years of hire.
